Hollow Tooth
by ahimsa timoteo bodhrán
Because you are distant from your god
you lay hands on guns, swear allegiance
to baptisms of blood. Because you speak
no longer your own languages, know not
how to welcome your own desire, you annihilate.
Because you dance for the dollar, hope to make it rain,
acids plague our oceans and hills burn houses down.
Soon only the liquid you can drink will be our blood,
and down it you will, I believe you believe
your wealth-health is more precious
than a non-fetal heart still beating.
Because you have resigned
yourself to an earth everdying, because you fear
dark masses mobilizing, because you believe everything
can be bought and sold, because you think
you can legislate out of existence everything
you think you are not, because you jerk off
to fantasies of apartheid, because you think South Africa
failed because it did not create a forever white hate state,
because you seek to erase history, human and of this earth,
because you cannot count past 6000,
you build space coffins to take all of us out with you,
use us for fuel to build your rockets aimed at
quickening a forever winter. Meal of munitions,
you would burn our bodies for fuel if you could.
You make Nazis blush. You are a plague
refusing inoculation. If only garlic
could end your curse.
