We thought I would be far away
but dawn brings letters and new light. Congratulations! You can stay.

Rain may fall from the sky today.
Who cares? Our hearts are shining bright. We thought I would be far away!

Love knows no borders anyway
and now our hearts soar high like kites. Congratulations! You can stay!

Rejection brings a price to pay
for long-distance love was our plight.

We thought I would far away.

I was worried but it’s ok.
The day has cast away the night

and now we know that I can stay.

Give me a hug and let us pray
that our dreams will soon be in sight

You thought I would be far away
but now we know that I can stay!
